MONTROSE RANGE REAR LIGHTHOUSE is located on the north side of River South Esk ,Montrose harbour . 2 lighthouses were built in 1818 at a cost of £350. as Upper and Lower Leading lights at 65 feet/22metres and 39 feet/13meters high, only the Upper 65 feet/22metres is still standing as Montrose Range Rear.
