A new visit to Ornsay Lighthouse on the Isle of Skye in 2005

Ornsay lighthouse is near to the village of Isleornsay on the ISLE of SKYE and about 9 miles/15Kms from the town of Broardford, the lighthouse can be visited at low water, be prepared it is muddy on the walk out to the lighthouse also check on the time of the incoming tide or you may be spending a long time there. The lighthouse looks into the Sound of Sleat and across to the Mainland of Scotland with some wonderful scenery as can be seen in the above photographs.
