DUNCANSBY HEAD LIGHTHOUSE is located on the north coast of Scotland and is 2 miles / 3 Kms from John O Groats , it is overlooking the Pentland Firth and the Orkney Islands. Established 1924. Engineer David a. Stevenson. Structure white tower 11 metres high, as can be seen in the photographs a number of other lighthouses can be seen from this position. the sailing ship passing the light is the U.S.Coast Guard training vessel, Barque "EAGLE"
