This is my first visit to BARNSNESS lighthouse, located on the east coast of Scotland, 28 miles/45Kms east of the City of EDINBURGH and 2.3 miles/3.75 Kms south of the town of DUNBAR. The light was established 1st. October 1901 and automated in 1986 and is still operational. Engineer: David A. Stevenson, White tower 121 feet/ 37 meters high, nominal range 10 miles/16 Kms, isophase white every 4 seconds. latitude 55.59.2N longitude 02.26.6W.
